easiest option is to use default rendering and column options without "Display on List", while "Restricted form Fields" may be suppressed in input form.

In module settings, grant permission "Show all columns" to show columns with "Display on List" not set and "Edit Also Restricted Columns" to allow editing "restricted" columns.

Other option is using a custom XSL, which can easily be created using the built in Generator (simply try it).

Great!

Finally it works. I created for the test 2 columns in formAndList. First column is called Title and second - Download.

Next, I went to module configuration and removed the checkmark from DisplayOnList for column Download.

After that, I went to module settings and put the checkmark in Display All Columns for registered users and subscribers.

Now, the column Title is visible always for everyone, but column Download is visible only for authenticated users. So, it works like I wanted to.

Thank you!

Go to Module settings and check out the permission grid near the bottom. There should be a column "Display all Columns", otherwise you need to reinstall the module.

Now, as it works, I would like to track and display the number of downloads in additional column, just like it is implemented in Documents module.

I don't realy know how to do this. What type of column should I use(Text/Integer/Calculated Column)?

I think I found. The type is LookUp.

In advanced options of column you set the source column to "Download" and in token text you put this: [File:clicks]
