actually I am not so shure, so I included the portion of my web.config:

Leave it on forms and only uncomment <identity impersonate="true"/> and change that line to <identity impersonate="true" userName="domain\username" password="password" />.

The user you use for impersonation will have to have the same rights to the site that NETWORK SERVICE does.

I did what you wrote. I've used the domain Administrator account for the web.config file.

The Site still works, but I can still only log in as the Domain Administrator. None of the other Domain Accounts work.

So it's the same problem wheter I use impersonation or not...

Any suggestions? Is there a log where I my find error messages?

Is this a new DNN install or one that has been in use for awhile?

It's new.

I even made a 2nd site on my server, fresh installation in another directory and in a fresh database, with the same result.

There must be something wrong in my configuration. I am not very experienced in the configuration of the IIS and the AD, so I might have a wrong setting, but where?
