Could someone please provide an axample or approach on how to  program an .ascx file for a pop up window.. I have exactly the same need as the post below, but the solution is not viewable.

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/110/postid/212981/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I have created a .ascx page, which requires the user to enter several field values and then submitt. I need to be able to pop up this page when a hyperlink/button is clicked on another page. I have spent a lot of time looking for solutions online, but I have not found any thing yet. Most doc. reference an aspx file and not ascx.

I have the window.open functionality working fine, but what do I pass as the name of the file for the ascx file? Or, do I need to do something different to make sure the ascx file can be displayed as a pop up page?

'Dim s As String

s = "<script language='javascript'>" & _

"openph('Ready.ascx')" & _

"</script>"

Thanks,

Rose

I did not post twice intentionally.. This was my first post on this web site. After submitting it the first time around, I noticed it was not listed. So, I thought I must have not posted it correctly. The 2nd time around, I saw the note about the approval period.. Sorry, I am used to all the great quick response Cold Fusion forums..

But, I hope you could also assist with getting an answer to this question. I unfortunately have not had much luck with finding something usefull about it. The one I did find was a non-functional link as noted in my earlier post

Thanks,

Ros.
