not xhtml source caused many problem, too many tables  very complexed! wish xhtml 1.1 be used in blog module!

Are you using latest version of the module?

Publically visible view controls have been tested for XHTML compatibility successfully.

At a glance, it looks like it may have been addressed in the 4.0 which is not released yet.  The last release version 3.5.1 has this in the ViewBlog.aspx
