I am new to DotNetNuke and I am attempting to create my first skin.

I've been looking around but I haven't found an answer on how to use buttons instead of text in the menue.

I have been looking at DNNMenuNavigationProvider, but is there is another way that would work I am up for it.

Thanks in advance!

Frederik,

I'm not sure if there's an easy way to do this, but the DNNMenuNavigationProvider assigns a unique ID to each of the links so if you know how to create navigation using background images and negative text-indent you could create an image based navigation this way.

Here's a tutorial on making the nav using a UL and image replacement: http://ghettocooler.net/2007/05/31/simple-navigation-with-css-image-replacement/. If you use the Firebug addon for Firefox you'll be able to view what the source looks like and each menu items associated id's.

Rick.

Regards,

Rick.
