I want to install dotnetnuke on my pc, and I read you can use SQL Express 2005/2008, so I downloaded SQL Express 2008, and I am a little confused about what I need to install with this Express version. It tells me that the Database and Tools are already installed. Is this all that I need. Do I need to install the Web Server and Frameworks and Runtimes? I just want to set my PC up so I can start learning how to use dotnetnuke.

From the SQL Server side, you just need SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio Express (SSMSE)

From the system side you will also need IIS installed with windows to be able to host the DNN installation for local viewing.
