Good Day,
I am having an issue (error details below) with post
installation of the AD Auth package.  The configuration
does not take, when I enter approriate data and select
the update the error pops up.

My thanks in advance for your time and attention.

The details for the instance of DNN are here:

### DotNetNuke
Product:

The DotNetNuke application you are running  DotNetNuke Community Edition
 DotNetNuke Version:

The DotNetNuke application version you are running  05.01.04 (3)

### DataBase : sql server
 SQL Server v9.0.4053

### AD Authentication

 AD Auth v1.00.06

###

The goal is to have teh DNN use the company's AD (automagically via the browser) to login
and then use groups membership for security in certain areas.

Does this provide enough details?  Any other details I need to provide?  Any pointers to
where I can do more searching or solution solving?

### ERROR information:
Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to
an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.

The problem is that you need the 05.00.02 version of the AD provider. The 01.00.06 version is for DNN 4 only.

OK -- really sorry for such a simple issue.  I will look for the v05. version.

I will update this later so there is update information in case others trip onto this thread.

Mike,

Pure negligence on my part – really sorry to have used up your time this way.

I found the current correct version of the AD provider for the v5x version of dotnetnuke at :

     http://dnnauthad.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=28601

I am working on the configuration now.
