Hi all,

I am a DNN administrator. I would like to give a user the right to change skin. I know if I let the user get the administrator right, then she should do it. However, giving her become an administrator is dangerous because she can view other department informations and even edite others data. Can someone tell me how to give a user right to change the skin and at the same time she do not has the admin right. Thanks!

switching between installed skins per page requires edit permission for the page.

switching skins for the site requires access to site settings - In this case I suggest creating a small module with skin selector only.

uploading skins has been limited to host users only for security reasons - any skin is executable code on your server!

you might follow developer guide (available from Resources > Documentation > downloadable files), buy a book or use module development tutorials at dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com, to learn developing modules.
