Hi,

I upgraded my 4.9.X site towards the latest 5.1.7 edition ... The upgrade process itself ran 'smoothly' beside an error for the 5.0.0. data provider upgrade.

The site worked though and was upgraded fine at first sight ...

I only found out later that the "Admin" and "Host" page(s) and related modules were still the old ones ... so I have an upgrated site but still the old pages which ofcourse fail as some of the linked ascx are removed ... new stuff like the "externions" and "dashboard" pages are not created ...

So basically the install script did not drop my old admin / host pages and did not install all the new modules and linked pages ...

Can I rerun the install page just as is or with the mode option to get this fixed or do I need some serious plumbing ?

The site is currenly being used already by users so I do not want to restart all over again ...

Thanks,

Steven

please check upgrade log files inside /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider.

there should be one .log for every .sqldataprovider file

The files are there indeed but all empty ... any idea whether a new upgrade run might work ?

Thanks,

Steven

how did you identify the admin modules to be old versions?

Well even the 'Admin' and 'Host' menu's are still the old ones so the whole underlying page structure is still the old version ...

Host does not have 'Extensions', 'Dashboard', etc ...
