I am trying to use a marquee tag in a Text/HTML module to scroll a news feed.  The scrolling works just fine when viewed with Firefox but is not smooth at all when viewed in Internet Explorer.  http://oba.knowledge-wave.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx  (test server.)  Using DNN 4.9.x.  Any ideas on why this might be happening?  Seems to be specific to using DNN.

Thanks,

Kristi

we use a marquee w/o problems in one of our clients site for a ticker, but it is not optimal for scrolling - use JS, flash or silverlight instead.

For future reference, the problem turned out to be a conflict with a Content Rotator module that was running on the same page.  Whenever the module rotated our sponsor logos, the newsfeed scrolling would be stopped and/or scroll badly.  We extended the time between logo changes as a workaround.
