Hello,

Is it possible to sort the links by it's id. Currently it seems to be sorting alphabetically. Basically whenever I add a new link, I would want it to be the first link in the link list. I could use the View order but that would be tiresome as I would then have to put  the view order fo all my links so imagine if I had like 100 links :( putting the view order for each link is not wise. Is there any other solution to my problem.

Hi Wasim,

you might want to try the current Beta of the links module. ( http://dnnlinks.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=34444 )
In the new verison you may select a link of your list and Place the new link after or before it.

All Updates on links that need a Vieworder change are performed automatically.

Hi,

Was hoping to get another solution and stick to the current links module. Is there something I can change in some stored procedure? I don't mind if it invovlves a bit of coding, but will need guidance on that.

Hi, what do u mean by menu links? Do you mean the page tabs on the main menu? That's quite easy to sort. You need to go to Admin > Pages and sort from there.
