Hi all,

I've been following DNN for years and we've played with it for various web sites and applications we've developed but never pulled the trigger.

We are now looking to develop a new application that would most closely resemble a web-based Personal Information Manager with Social Networking aspects (a la Facebook).

Because DNN has a lot of the core framework that we'd need (user authentication, security, modularity, skinning, modularity etc.) we are wondering if this would be an acceptable platform to complete such development.  Scale would need to be in the millions of users.

Appreciate any thoughts from the smart folks on these forums.  If DNN isn't good for this, can anyone recommend something else that could get us started?
