Rick: I thought I was using DNN NAV. I didn't know I was using anything from Solpart because everything I've read about it says I shouldn't use it because it is only included for legacy reasons. Here is the navigation code I am using.

<dnn:NAV runat="server" id="dnnNAV" IndicateChildren="False" ControlOrientation="Horizontal" CSSNodeRoot="main_dnnmenu_rootitem" CSSNodeSelectedRoot="main_dnnmenu_rootitem_selected" CSSBreadCrumbRoot="main_dnnmenu_rootitem_selected" CSSContainerSub="main_dnnmenu_submenu" CSSNodeHover="main_dnnmenu_rootitem_hover" CSSNodeSelectedSub="main_dnnmenu_itemselected" CSSContainerRoot="main_dnnmenu_container" CSSControl="main_dnnmenu_bar" CSSBreak="main_dnnmenu_break" SeparatorHTML="<div class=&quot;navmenu_sep&quot;>&nbsp;</span>" />

I tried having the border set to 0px and to none but both didn't work. Now I tried using both at the same time like you advised but it also didn't work. I think Mark is right about it not being anything to do with my CSS.

Mark: I'm not using Solpart, or at least I don't think I am. This is my first skinning in DNN so maybe I'm using Solpart unknowingly?

You are actually using SolPart with that <dnn:NAV> - if you don't specify a ProviderName, it uses the default provider defined in your web.config, which is usually SolPart. Anyway, to fix your problem, just add MouseOverDisplay="None" and it should get rid of the effect. Works on my PC, anyway!

MouseOverDisplay="None" did the trick. Thanks Mark.

How would I change the menu to NAV instead of Solpart? What would I put into ProviderName?

You need to add ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider" to make it use DNNMenu instead of SolPart. It will probably mess up your styles a bit, though. Alternatively, use my menu in SolPart emulation mode ;)
