Same issue here.  Tehre is no "...Existing..." option.  Only....

Create Module From: <None>,New,Control,Manifest.

Selecting Manifest gives no option to select a manifest file.

This is clearl a bug.  I find myself screwed now as I just updated my client site.  Is there a way to roll back to the old version?

Thanks.

I've run into the same thing...  Due to some fat fingers, I needed to rebuild my dev system.  so I loaded 5.2.03 from scratch.

I see that import module has changed some, but does make sense. the problem is that it doesn't seem to work

I set the owning folder to "<not selected>", then i can see my module directory in the "module directory", I select that, then I point to my mainifest file and click "create module".

Nothing then happens, there is no success or failure message, and the module is not added to the module list.  I I'll make the assumption that it failed.

any suggestions on how to get the manifest to install?  or should I just fall back to an earlier version (5.1 or somethign)?

Has this issue been resolved? I'm trying to load a new custom module and there is not place to upload the manifest. Any ideas?

I do know it works in 5.4.1 (i did it in my module dev class last week). Go to the Module Definitions page and choose Create Definition, you can then choose a definition from your manifest file. You want the manifest file to be within a folder under desktopmodules.
