I have a fresh install of 5.02, and went looking to upload skins.  I have used DNN in the past but not for a few versions now.  So I looked in the doc and found that in host settings you should be able to set the Skin Upload Permission for Host or Host and Portal.  The directions state:

1. Navigate to Host >

Host Settings.
2.
Maximize the Advanced Settings section.
3.
Maximize the Other Settings section.
4. At
Skin Upload Permission, select from the following options:

But this option does NOT exist under Other Settings.  I can not upload new skins under Host or Portal.  Please help.

Jim

the skin upload option was removed for portal's as it was a potentially security risk as skins can contain asp.net code. You can upload skins via the host->extensions menu
