I've created a very basic image gallery. When I look at the list view, each row shows the file name/stats to the immediate right. Under the image/text I see the actual friendly text I want to show.

I don't want the file information shown at all. Is this a setup or upload problem? What am I doing wrong?

Not sure if it is releated but when I look at the ControlViewer class I see where the lblInfo is assigned a concatentation as follows:

lblInfo.Text = mCurrentItem.ItemInfo & "<br />" & mCurrentItem.Description

I'd rather have more control in the markup over individual fields.

In the gallery configuration's Display Settings there is a set of checkboxes to select what Display Info will be shown in all of the views. By default only the "Name" field (i.e. filename) is checked. You "should" be able to simply uncheck the "Name" item to prevent the filename from being displayed.

However, due to a bug in the configuration settings page that was not discovered until after the module released, at least one of the Display Info items must be checked. If you uncheck all items, the Display Info items will revert back to displaying the "Name" field when the configuration is saved.

As a work around, I would suggest that you uncheck "Name" and check one of the other items (such as Author or Location) that you want or can tolerate to show.

I will log this as an issue in the projects CodePlex issue tracker.
