Hi -

I'm trying to pass in a value (a "referrer") when someone initialy goes to my portal (www.[domain].com/[virtual directory]/default.aspx?referrer=AAA).

All I intend to do is store this in a session variable but it seems to get "lost" (no value for request.querystring("referrer") ).

Thanks

Could you post the URL used to access the site and the exact code block that accesses the querystring? This code should work without a problem - I've done it before.

If I understand your problem correctly, I think you can get the same information in an easier way, use the Request object (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cpconaspnetintrinsicobjects.asp?frame=true) to get information about the client's request (i.e. URL referrer etc...)
