Hello,

I installed DNN4 on a W2K3Server and I'm having problems in getting it to run. Luckily I got it installed, so I know ASP must work. When I put a HTML page into the directory, that page will be shown - so my virtual directory will be found by IIS. Hm, when I call /Install/Install.aspx I always get the message "Nothing to install..."

And now my problem. When I call the Default.aspx page nothing will be shown instead of the portal. When I look into the IIS-logfile I can see that a HTTP occurs whenever I call the Default.aspx. So what am I doing wrong? I found no solution on the web now. So maybe someone can help.

I don't have any problems in running DNN on a W2K server and I have no clue about the limitations of W2K3. The configuration is the same and after I did enable ASP.NET in IIS6 where can be a difference?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Axel

Well, I tried it again and this time I did not call http://localhost/dnn to install the portal. I used the IP-address instead and now luckily it works. I have no idea if that would work for other people but atleast I'm happy that I'm ready to start...
