Hi;

Am not sure that this should be directed to this module except that it occurred when the event module was used. I, the administrator, created a new event without any problem. One of our users, (Carter in the copied text below) received the email copied below. Carter is neither an administrator or owner or moderator of the event. He has received these notifications before and (obviously) finds them irritating. I can think of no reason why he, and not anybody else as far as i know, receives these. It is not unconditional, just every so ofter, and it seems to always be related to an event being scheduled, i.e. created. Any help or suggestions are welcome.

This is because you have enabled subscriptions to the module in the module settings, and the user has subscribed by ticking the box on the icon bar. The module is sending a new event notification.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger;

Thanks. I was not aware of this functionality and thought it had to do with enrollments. He indeed had checked this box.

Regards

Hans
