Well, the results are finally in and posted!

Design Challenge Winners

Only the category winners and community favorite are currently available for download.  We're tweaking and finishing the rest of the packages but it may take us a few more days.  One of our goals here is to ensure that the community has some very good examples of packaging so that everyone can (1) learn what is possible and proper with DNN 5 packaging (versioning, release notes, licenses, embedded skin objects, etc) and (2) get accustomed to how packaging should be done by vendors in the future (meaningful skin and container layout names, 1 package installs, clean instructions, etc).

Thanks for your patience, everyone!  And a BIG thank you to all of the designers who participated!  And one final thank you to the guys who have done most of the heavy lifting for this contest... Timo Breumelhof, Cuong Dang, Salar Golestanian and Chris Paterra... thanks guys!

mmm.

Some i agree with some I can understand and others totally not.

The personal one for instance everyone I talk to thinks the monsters should have won and I agree

the design is better ( a tree compared to hand drawn monsters )

educational value ( monster is table-less  and xhtml valid, the tree one is table infested [30 nested tables ] and is invalid

so if there is 5% for educational value and 15% for technical implmentation I cant see how this one can win

The skin contest was setup to promote good dnn skinning  but one of the skins that won is table infested, that is not promoting good skinning but promoting bad skinning.

Will the judging scores be made public because I sure would like to see how this one could win.
