I have a basic html page which has 2 frames to it, a small top banner type frame and then a larger frame for the bulk of the display.  Within the second frame I am trying to display a DNN site.  The main page of the DNN site will display just fine and while under Firefox the login control will allow me to login under IE the login control will take my login and password and then just blanks them out and comes right back to a blank login control as though I have not logged in.  I know it has not logged me in under IE as I do not see any of the content that a registered logged in user would see on the DNN site.  Any thoughts on what is happening with IE and DNN within the frame?

frame page and framed page need to be from same domain for security reasons.

Thanks for the posting, I had forgotten about that point until you mentioned it and that is exactly what the issue is.
