Nik,

First off, thanks for the reply. I appreciate it a lot at this point, as it is getting pretty frustrating for me. I went with DNN so that I wouldn't have to fix/debug the site in my all-too-rare-nowadays free time.

No trailing slash on the home portal (Or any other). SSL is not enabled or checked.

I looked at the home page, and it (as well as all the other pages in the advanced -> Page management section) were set to None Specified . So I tried to set it to a page, and it threw an exception. The stack tracesaid it was because it was trying to insert a NULL into the Default Language field. So I backed up and went to the Default Language, and there are no choices in the dropdown list box.It is just blank. :/

Sounds like the root cause is data inconsistency and it is going to be extremely challenging diagnosing it remotely. I think it will be prudent (if possible) to revert to your original problematic portal state (i.e. cannot create new portal), identify the cause, fix it, and then do the upgrades. If you are able to provide me remote access to diagnose the problem, I will be glad to take a look at it (email info to nik @ dnncorp.com).

Nik, No contact since March... Can I get a little bit of your time? I've let the site languish and people have noticed or gone away. I'm getting discouraged, to be honest.
