Hi,

I have a strange problem. When me or someone else who's admin delete a post of someone else or it's own post, a lot of members are receiving the notification.

It is quite embarassing when you do not want someone else see the message and he is receiving the deletion notification with the messge content in it.

Someone know what is wrong in my configuration?

Thanks

Stéphan Bourgeois

Disable edit permission in the module settings, Edit permissions only needed for administartors of the module.  It could be you have to change some settings for each forums.  If I am right you have done a upgrade from a older version of the forum module.

Other situation can be the users have moderation permissions, or have subscript to all changes of the forum.

Hi,

I upgraded the forum from a previous version.

None of the persons that told me having receive a notification are subscribed to any forums or threads. I checked in the SQL tables.

I made a test to a restricted forum and only the other administrator received the notification.

I am a bit scare to test in the less restricted forum.

What is your concern about changing to a less restrictive forum type?
