I am having the same problem. I have a link in my Text/HTML module (version 04.09.05) and I am running DNN v04.09.05. However the clicks on not appearing in the URLTracking table? Is there another setting I need to activate or do I need to create the fancy "get around" described above?

there is no other option than getting the data from the database - either directly or using reports module.

FYI, these "node page links" appear to be working. Instead of setting page links directly to an outside URL or to a download file on the site, each link has a "node page" created for it. The node pages lead to the final link destinations, and the users passing through these nodes are recorded by Google Analytics.

...with this arrangement, all link traffic appears in the GA account. I don't have to dig up link-clicks from the URLTracking table and reconcile them with my seperate GA account stats.

We have tried this put it doesn't seem to be working, if you try and browse the node page it displays an emplty page instead of the redirect to the file.  Any idea how you got this working so it brings up the linked file?  It only seems to work when you access the page via a menu link, not directly via the URL to the node page.
