Hi

Our old site used to accept form posts from external sites to create orders.  I'm having trouble setting this up.

The SiteUrls don't seemt to work as they do in the dev environment (basic dnn ones work but i can't add custom ones).  So to rewritre urls from the old site ie mysite.com/cart.cgi to mysite.com/Basket/tabid/71/default.aspx i used the iis rewrite module.

This works if i redirect to my test page in the root directory.  It can read the form variables in fine.  But when i change it to the basket url it doesn't seem to find any.

I tried the url Default.aspx?Tabid=71 but again this doesn't work.

Anyone got any ideas as to why?

I don't really want to make the test page redirect itself as that's a bit messy.

Here's some more info.

If i create a direct link with the post info it works.  For example on my localhost i setup a quick test form that posted the variables to

https://www.mysite.com/Basket/tabid/71/default.aspx

Everything was added correctly.  I need to be able to redirect from the old url though, as there are too many customers who use it.  It would take them months to make the changes.

Hi Simon,

There's too much going on here to be able to give you much specific guidance, but I would strongly recommend you take a look at the HTTP flow via a debugging proxy (such as Fiddler).  A few minutes spent there will probably quickly reveal where the underlying problem is located, and allow you to better identify what needs fixing.

Hope this helps!
