DotNetNuke has a long-standing heritage with the friendly names of modules.
Using the default editor module language cannot translate automatically friendly names of modules in the drop-down box (Control Panel) and the title of the module inserted into the page.
Some modules in DNN version 5.20 are using the folder/name of the Extension Settings for the title of the Module. However, the folder name may not be modified, because when modified cause access error in portal.
In this regard we are a step backwards.
I understand how this is complicated.

How can I help you?

AFAIK DNN 5 manifest uses module names different than DNN4, but localization is not provided neither for module name nor description atm.
