I just downloaded the 4.0.3 install and uploaded it to my shared hosting provider. I have set up the web.config file and configured my database. However, when I hit my site to start the install process, I receive the following error. Anyone else seen this one before and know what it may involve. Would it be something I've done wrong or something to do with my host's server set up? Thanks for your time.

This error usually means the assembly is not in the bin directory. Check the bin directory for the dll. You can check them against the distribution package you unzipped.

Hmmm... That doesn't seem to be the problem. I've checked the bin directory and all dll files are present. I know it works as I have uploaded to same files to a different host and it works just fine. So I'm wondering if it is a problem with my new host's servers. If that is the case, I don't want to contact them until I know what to contact them about. Anyone have any ideas as to what may cause this kind of error?

You didn't mention who your shared provider is, but, with WebHost4Life, you have to go to their Admin console and set the 'application' version of .Net to 2.0 each time you install a portal.  The portal will install, but you can't launch it as they set the directories to 1.1 by default, despite you having the DNN folder set to 2.0

I hope this helps some.
