Hi,

Is it possible to check if the email address is filled in after the user logs in?  Most of our users (coming from an import of a Navision database) don't have their email address filled in.  And a lot of functionalities use this email address.

Thx,

BigTim

You might get some odd exceptions in your install because DNN depends so much on email address being there. You can try and force a valid profile on login (via User Accounts, select User Settings module action. Since the email is technically membership, I am not sure if this will do anything but it is worth a try.

Thx for your quick response, butI have already tried that, but that's no solution.

I have also tried to add an extra field Email to the profile(and check on that), but as far as I know it is not possible to connect this field to the field email from the membership.

Thx,

BigTim

what you can do is to make membership verified. This will not force people to enter a correct email address, but they can only activate their membership with the verification code that is sent to them by email. So if their email address is not correct, they cannot activate their membership....
