pleae notice that Michael's procedure works for static content (HTML), not for forms or dynamic (database driven) content.

DNN 5.2 has a new feature for local sites to create dynamic modules on the fly in Host :: ModuleDefinitions by just pasting the content of a form or whatever. This does require some knowledge about ASP.net however and INHO it helps, if you got a basic understanding, how modules are created, e.g. from tutorials at dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com or module developer guide from support > documentation > downloads in menu above.

 How can I convert an ASPX page into a DNN module?

I'd suggest, at your level of experience, that you don't.  Use the DNN functions to duplicate what your ASPX page does.  What is the ASPX page, just static content or does it have forms, dynamic content, etc.?

 Dear EVeryone,

Well, my app is dynamic content - all data is stored in a database.

But my problem is this - our app had a web.config file. Now there's a web.config file for the DNN content management system. How does all this work?

I know I will have to buy a skin to blend everything in, but how do I even add my aspx into DNN??

Do I merge the databases or do I keep them separate?

Are there any good tutorials on how to merge your ASPX app into DNN??

my current app has the following:

-> a forum

-> bin directory

-> FCKEditor directory

-> UserControls directory

-> Master directory

The rest is just aspx files.

WHat do you suggest?

THanks
