Hi,

I have a Win Server 2003 machine running .Net 2.0\IIS 6.0

I have a virtual Dir containing a DOTNETNUKE site I am building. I also have other virtual dirs under IIS

Problem:

I can reach my DOTNETNUKE site remotely from INSIDE my network:

Example: http://192.168.x.xx/mysite/    (clue: always resolves to http://servername/mysite/ when it finds and displays the page, my other virtual dirs keep the IP in the URL)

When I try this from outside my NW with the public IP:

Example: http://216.xxx.xx.xxx/mysite/

it comes back with "Page cannot be found"

my other non - DOTNETNUKE virtual dirs work fine so I don't think it is a router problem.

I have checked several permssions and settings in IIS and I can't figure it out. All virtual dirs match. Is there something in the WEB.CONFIG or something?

thanks,

Sandy

I have similar configuration and I am also have the same problem.  When i use th starter kit and run the site from within Visual Studio 2005 it works fine.  Though when i try to access it through IIS it shoots HTTP Error 403

Did you add the public IP : http://216.xxx.xx.xxx/mysite/ as an alias?    It is a common mistake.
