I have some strange problems with a 5.1.4 DNN install. I have one main portal and 2 child portals. I have uploaded danish language pack, catalookstore(and language), urlmaster and some skins. Other than that, standard install of 5.1.4 (I tried 5.2 before, but there where even more strange things going on so I selected 5.1.4 instead).
so I have
mydomain.com
mydomain.com/child1
mydomain.com/child2
if I open the language editor I can pick both languages in the dropdown and edit both languages.
BUT, for the main portal mydomain.com and for one child portal, I cannot set other languages than "english" in the settings for the portal - so for two portals I can only run english language.
If I go to "admin -> languages" it, below the text "Available locales" in the dropdown, shows me the two languages. If I press (as HOST) the "edit language" the I get an exception.
what is wrong and how to correct it. I think its strange that I managed to change the default locale for ONE child portal but for the others Im unable to?
