I have 2 queries:

1. Localization for Control properties innormal ASP.NET is accomplished using the meta:resourcekey attribute. I have observed that if we leave out the meta prefix, ASP.NET does NOT apply the resource files to the controls.
   Then, why does all DNN core or built in module controls use just the resourcekey? Do they still get the Resource Files applied. If yes, how??
2. We can specify the LocalResourceFile for each PortalModuleBase. Does this file is just to get the localized string from the DotNetNuke.Services.Localization.Localization class, or does it also gets applied automatically to the page by ASP.NET also??
   In other words, does this attribute affect the ASP.NET localization process, or just the DNN localization process??

Then what is the significance of the resourcekey attribute in DNN??

Don't tell me that prior to rendering, DNN walks the entire tree of controls looking for the resourcekey attribute and fetches appropriate content for those controls from the specified LocalResourceFile.
