Hello..  Have an issue with a module..

We already had on installed and I just wanted to use the same one, sans editing with the proper file locations, etc for another portal.

So I copied the folder, made the changes I needed, etc.  BUT, it's not showing up in the host/modules definitions.

I've done it before this way, but now it doesn't appear to be working.  I'm running the latest community edition.

If I try the create module, I get an error.  Something about it not being able to create it, file IO, etc.

PLEASE HELP..

You can't just copy a module's folder, not without adding the definition information into DNN. Please post a more descriptive error message of what you are seeing.

Thank you for the reply..

I forgot that step.. I was able to create a new extension and setup the module correctly..  Just need to debug it now.. ha-ha..

The error I was getting is if you go into host/module definitions and then create module.  This is where the error was occurring.

Thanks again..
