Hi,

I did a fresh install of DNN 5.2.1 and my even viewer is flooded with error messages. IT all looks to be same issue but one night and have overs hundred's of error.Here are couple:

there seems to be a file lock error, preventing cache files to be deleted. This doesn't seem to harm the function of the site, but you should make sure, the eventlog is not growing too big, e.g. by frequently purging it.

Is there a fix to this solution. In other words is this an issue? Can this version be used in production sites?

Sebastian the errors are a problem. Most of the modules are not working properly. I guess I will do a rollback and wait for 5.2 to become stable.

This sounds like a permissions error.  Can you confirm that the application pool identity and the site identity have permissions to that folder?  This is not a general problem with the release (this site is also running it).
