Hello,

I was wondering what people's thoughts were on how to configure a Development/Update environment and the Live side sharing a database.

What issues would there be?

I can think of one off-hand and that would be files.  Files would need to be uploaded to both servers at the same time and the synchronizing the databases.  But, as long as you stuck with the same file/folder/drive structure, there shouldn't be any issues, correct?

Also, aliases would need to be configured on both servers as well.

How about seperated databases?  What are the best ways to sync changes between the two (development/live) sql boxes?

Thanks.. -Jeff
