The SQL for the 5.2.1 script is broken.  It is missing information that will cause anyone who has defined a DBO or tablename prefix in their Web.config.

If you even try to just load the source version of 5.2.1 it won't even create the default database without erroring.

Really not sure how that ever made it past any quality control.  Apparently nobody even took a look at it to check it at all.

Dmitry,

i am not aware of changes in 05.00.00.sqldataprovider, but if you have issues installing DNN 5.2.1 directly, I suggest installing 5.1.4 and upgrade subsequently. There is a small known error in 05.02.01.sqldataprovider files with a missing "{databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}" just before "Lists" in an update statement (I am sure, DNN Corp. is going to improve testing procedures to prevent these issues in the future).

I always prefer "custom" installation method, which guides you through all steps and has proven to be most stable option.

I had the same problem when I use the Object Qualifier field.  When I leave it blank it worked.

So try without giving object Qualifier when installing.

It is something to do with the Object Qualifier in the upgrade script. Someone from Development team, please let users know which sql script to change,

Thanks
