This is a known issue here is the fix which will be included in 5.2.2 Maintenance Release:

This issue has been resolved for 5.2.2, but users of 5.2.1 can resolve it manually by logging in as host and going to host->sql, and supplying the following sql (please ensure you check the "run as script" checkbox)

UPDATE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Lists SET SystemList = 'True' WHERE ListName = 'DataType'

Hi Dimitry;

Best guess for 5.2.2 release is the week of January 18th.

Are you having to use Cyrillic collation for a specific reason? DNN doesn't support anything other than the SQL default collation.

If you are able I would suggest you reset the SQL collation back to the default: SQl_Latin1_General_CP1_AS (This string is from SQL 2008 you should have a similar choice in 2005) and then start again with a new database and web files

Hi Ken,

That's just the point that I have updated a copy of mine SQL a server and have established as the base: "Latin1_General_CI_AS", has created a database and also has specified "Latin1_General_CI_AS" collation, but nevertheless varies nothing, and the error remains.

The distribution kit for installation DNN I download from here:

Thanks.
