The same problem... The YSlow report i just like that... Too many http requests... too many js fiel without ability to reduce that number. I have done a lot to minify and cache content. IIS has compression rate 10 for static and 9 for dynamic. But anyway the DNN engine is slow. Even dotnetnuke.com itself has grade D reported by YSlow. E.g. joomla has C and yahoo A. I think there are a lot of things to improve DNN. Especcialy regareding opportunity to combine CSS and js files, to involve opportunity to use CDN. Yes, ASP.NET is slow but there is a plenty of MS sites based on .NET technology faster than DNN. Actually I think the performance must have the top rate in DNN development roadmap. I think not only me interesting in that. Currently the performance is the biggest problem of DNN which makes a lot of potential and current client looking for another CMS. Thanks

Yes, I read it a couple of days ago. But acording to the blog only friendly URLs engine will have better performance? I use it currently only for a half of my sites based on DNN. Will ver. 5.5 include any other performance optimization? Like less JS files? or option to merge JS and CSS? I know that PageBlaster can do it. But I do not use when I was using it it had a lot of issues with third party products. E.g. activemodules products.
