We are using DNN 4.9.4 and running 4 servers in webfarm environment. We followed the official "DNN webfarm support" document to configure the servers.

Due to we are not using the centralize file server, we decided to use the "Broadcast Polling Caching" Provider.

Our problem is we couldn't find the sql file which stated in the documentation.

$root\Providers\CachingPRoviders\BroadcastPollingCachingProviders\Providers\SQLDataProvider\03.01.00.SqlDataProvider

The "CachingProviders" folder also can't be found in the "Providers" folder (DNN 4.9.4 deployment installation).

What i can do is manually configure in web.config. We still having issue of the cache problem when a page has been updated or deleted, another 3 servers don't update immediately, unless we manually log into these server and clear the cache in the Host Settings.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

I suggest upgrading to the latest version of DNN first.

 Hi Alex,

We did consider to upgrade to latest version. Then again, it would be a complex task due to our web sites using too many third party components and some components are not ready for DNN 5 yet. If we want to update to the latest version, all the modules need to be retest in latest DNN version and it would take months to complete redo everything.

Besides that, any other alternative solution?

Many thanks
