We're having an issue - and I can't seem to find any info on it.   It seems to be DNN 5 specific --- but now when we use ° for the degree symbol in source - the FCK editor is changing it to the symbol.  Doesn't seem to be an issue until we log out!  If the user is un-authorized (not logged in) the symbol shows up as a Question mark.

So:  90° = 90? once logged out.  (FYI - if it doesn't show - the first one I used ° for)

**** EDIT ****

I've had to edit this post multiple times - to get ° to display right - and everytime I come back it becomes the symbol -- this is plain code - so I've been typing: °

Which version of DNN 5.x are you using.

When looking at the output HTML source, can you see what is being rendered?

Mitch - Thanks for the reply!

When not logged in - the source shows an actual question mark (?) --- in the source.

When logged in --- the source is the degree symbol. --- just like the subject of this reply is now.  That's in the source.

Running -DNN 05.02.00

besides, there are FCKEditor settings, whether to HTML encode the content or not, you might need to reset to default if changed.
