Hi!

I'm running DNN 4.9.5 and have a strange mail error

If I test the SMTP settings from the host panel it works fine, but if i try the forgot password function i get an error message "The password could not be sendt, contact administrator"

And i do not get any notification messages from mudules like photoalbums..

Any ideas?

regards

Amundsen

there are 2 additional items to take care of:

- notifications are usually sent using the email address of the admin user specified in site settings. make sure, you entered a valid address!

- if sender and recipient are not from mail server domain, your SMTP server needs to be configured for relaying.
