Hi Sebastian, I am unable to register the module from the manifest generated by the Starter Kit (nothing happens, just a postback with no result) and I took your suggestion and attempted to register the same module (there are no controls on it yet) and got the below error message once I added it to a page. Can you point to me what I am doing wrong? Error: Sandbox is currently unavailable. I've the same problem, nothing happens, just a postback when i try to create a new module from the manifest file.

I must try Dotnetnuke for a new project and that makes three days I try to create a new module without any results.

Thanks for your help

did you try with latest DNN 5.3.1, AFAIK there have been a number of issues fixed, even in this area.

Cheers from Germany,

What worked for me was adding it by selecting the View control. Another issue though: I was able to set the module in debug mode right away, but after a restart (necessiated by another porgram), I can no longer debug the very same module with VS2008 Pro.
