Hi,

I was trying to load the custom styles in fck editor so I made some changes to the deafult configuration. Since then it is become unstable  and see many errors on event viewer such as:

InnerException: Error loading FCK setting (Reverse HTML Encode output)
FileName:
FileLineNumber: 0
FileColumnNumber: 0
Method: System.Boolean.Parse
StackTrace:
Message: System.Exception: Error loading FCK setting (Reverse HTML Encode output) ---> System.FormatException: String was not recognized as a valid Boolean.at System.Boolean.Parse(String value)at DotNetNuke.HtmlEditor.FckHtmlEditorProvider.Fckeditor.LoadFCKCTLSettings(Boolean mAdmin)--- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I would like to reset it to default settings. I tried re-installing the provider but that did not help. Can anyone please tell me how to reset it to default?

I have one more question: How do I use telerik rad editor instead of fck? I am using community edition. Thanks

go to advanced settings, and for portal, module and instance scope remove the settings.

Another option would be removing settings from HostSettings, ModuleSettings and TabModuleSettings tables in the database.

Thanks Sebastian. But am not sure what you mean by advance settings? Did you mean custom editor options? If yes how to remove settings? Is it the clear button?

yes, I meant using "clear" command in "Custom Editor Options" (you need apply for each settings type)
