I wanted to create a new module using .zip file as a template in visual studio 2008 (C#).

I copied zip file in C:\Documents and Settings\user name\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\Web folder. When i open a DNN website and try to add new item then i could not locate this template under "My Template". Template (.zip file) has developed in C#.

Please help me out where i'm doing a mistake?

the zipfile needs to have a .vstemplate file, and this file cannot contain errors. You can see samples of how this should work in the DNN starterkit
