Hi!

I'm using DNN 5.1.4 and I'm making a custom skin for it. If I add language skin object "<object id="dnnLANGUAGE" codetype="dotnetnuke/server"
codebase="LANGUAGE" />" to the skin file (index.html) I get a following error:

Info Creating backup of previous version - slike\logo.png
Info Created - slike\logo.png
StartJob Begin Processing of Skin Files
Failure ExceptionSystem.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array. at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.SkinFileProcessor.ObjectParser.ObjectMatchHandler(Match m) at System.Text.RegularExpressions.RegexReplacement.Replace(MatchEvaluator evaluator, Regex regex, String input, Int32 count, Int32 startat) at System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex.Replace(String input, MatchEvaluator evaluator) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.SkinFileProcessor.ObjectParser.Parse(String& Source) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.SkinFileProcessor.ProcessFile(String FileName, SkinParser ParseOption) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.SkinInstaller.Install()
Info Component installed successfully - Skin
Failure Package Installation aborted
Info Installation Failed - Biomasa Skin
Info Starting Installation - Biomasa Container

I have pasted few lines before and after.

But if I use HTML token "[LANGUAGE]", than skin installs without any problems.

I have installed and updated skin for more than 20 times using other skin object and I haven't got any errors.

What is wrong? how can I fix this?

does the register line look the same after the upload? in your aspx version, do you use correct path to the langauge control you may find in definition within Extensions module in host menu.

oops, I just noticed, I didn't read that you are using the new object syntax; unfortunately I haven't used it yet.

hm... aren't register lines created by DNN when instaling a package? Or should I add them as well in index.html?

yes, you are right, I falsely thought you were creating ascx skins.

Due to my missing experience with object syntax, this needs to be answered by one of the other experts.
