I'm looking for opinions about using Artisteer for generating DNN skins.  I have some clients who don't need anythin exotic and are not looking to pay much, and this may allow me to do a skin for them with minimal time involved (so lower bill for them).  I'm wondering how much "tweaking" of skins may be needed after creating on in Artisteer.  From the demo it seems to do pretty decent canned skins, but most of my clients will want their own graphics and, from what I've seen, it's not that hard to change graphics and colors after creating the skins.  IT kind of sounds too good to be true.

Thanks for any opinions, good or bad.

Jeff

I tested it once and it worked well - and I know other consultants, who are swearing on it. I suggest downloading the trial version.

I've been playing with the trial version, then reviewing the ASCX files.  It seems to do a pretty responsible job of creating them, and the skins are usable.  I'm not yet sure it can do any of the more involved skinning I have to deal with, but it would sure cut time in developing "quickie" skins.

Thanks,

Jeff
