I've recently installed DNN 5.02.00 on a GoDaddy Account, putting it in a subdirectory called \D.  That means I can get to my portal using the domain www.mydomainname.com/d  and that is ok by me.  Once I have this "main" portal loaded up with all my skins and modules, I will add another parent portal with a different domain and put the /d in the alias so that I can reach that one by the domain www.myotherdomainname.com (without the /D added).  I don't exactly remember how this is configured, but I did it before on my other GoDaddy account, so I know it works.  So that is not why am writing this here.

The problem that brings me here involves the "admin username and password" prompts on the site settings page and some of the critical menu items like "Add New Skin" on the Skins page.  They are missing.  They are not just invisible because of some css issues but are totally not there.  And this is a vanilla install using the GoDaddy installer.  I've reported the problem to GoDaddy support, but we all know where that leads.  So now I am here to beg assistance.

A few more details...
I have installed and uninstalled DNN using the GoDaddy installer several times during the last three weeks.  Ever installation has behaved the same.
No modules or skins have been added to the installation yet and I have tested all of the initially loaded skins without any change in behavior.
This is my first experience with DNN 5.x, but I've been using 3.x and 4.x for years.

Thanks in Advance for any assistance and/or advice.

Peace,

Colt

Have you tried using the install download instead of the GoDaddy version?

The Install Version... No, I was being lazy.
I will read around the forums till I find how to do a manual install on goDaddy and give that a try.

Thanks!
Peace,
Colt
