Hi,

Option: you can manually add an page to the hosts tab(name it Portals and hosts must be parent) and then select the portal module. First you have to enable the module in hosts-module definitions-select the pencil by Portals and go to the boxes available and assign select the site from available and put it  to assign.

do you have an action menu on the module, which should contain the "add portal" command?

if not, I suggest temporarily applying default skin and container to your site (in site settings) to check whether the links will show up - in this case, it is an issue of the skin applied and you should contact the skin developer)
