Hi all,

Is it possible to check if a user is already logged in and block a login attempt for the same username made from another computer?

I'll give an example:

Two people work in the same office and are given 1 username to access the company website. With this username they can both log in at the same time.

I already have the Users Online table on focus for the checking part but I'm not sure how the blocking can be implemented.

Any suggestions are welcomed both on the checking and the blocking.

Regards,

Evgeni

due to the stateless character of http protocol (used for any web site), it is very hard to implement a mechanism to avoid multiple concurrent web sites, without the risk of logging out a user for some time occasionally.
