The page_load method doesn't seem to fire like it should in a custom module I'm trying to create.  I searched on this and found that I needed to change the "Default Cache Time" value on the module to 0.  I've done this and I still seem to be getting the exact same behavior.  When I go from an unauthenticated user to a standard user (member of authenticated users) it doesn't fire the event.  Anytime I hit the page with an admin user it fires the event.

Is there some sort of user related cache setting?  Having caching isn't such a big deal, it's just that I want it to fire the page_load after a user logs in so I can show some extra stuff for authenticated users.

Thanks for any help!

Just wonder what language are you using?
If you use VB.net make sure the it saids Handles Me.Load (Me => refer to the page itself)

If you are using C#, you must add a Page Load handler in Init Method (quick sample code by  adding a page using C# in visual studio and you will see what i mean), just copy and paste the init handler.

Hope this helps
